    Belfast Maritime Festival 2023

    Belfast Lough Sailability was delighted to be invited by Belfast City Council to participate in the Belfast Maritime Festival on 9th & 10th September at the Abercorn Basin. The weather was spectacular which made the on the water trips and activities even more fun.     On Saturday, June 17, Arthur Marshall, Chris Soeters, Conor Sheridan, Mark Francey, Neil Campbell, Ray Williams, Pamela Kane, Kathleen Monteverde, Brian Critchley, Dave Rowlands, Alan Baxter, Stephen Hicks, Marty Wilgaus, Ally Cardwell and Rachael Horne will swim from Grey Point, Co Down to Carrickfergus, coming ashore on the beach next to the castle.     Presidents Cup 2022

    Belfast Lough Sailability hosted the 2022 Presidents Cup, Hansa National Championships and 2.4mtr Nationals. Great sailing conditions, good food, excellent company ashore what more could you want. It was a pleasure hosting the event again meeting up with our friends from the other Sailability groups.   • Last Wednesday Session for 2021

    After a long lockdown period, it's been great getting back out on the water! We hope you have adjusted to the booking system which allows more planning of boats/volunteers and gives us better visibility of numbers/resources available and to assist with COVID regulations. Unfortunately, the dark nights are creeping in and our last Wednesday Session for 2021 will be 8th September, the night will finish with an end of season BBQ!

    Belfast Lough Swim 2021

    BLS is proud to assist in the 2021 Belfast Lough Swim, taking place on Saturday 10 July 2021. This will see a group swim from Greys Point to Carrickfergus. Proceeds will be split between Dementia NI and Belfast Lough Sailability. Thursday 5 August 2021 Tonight we handed over the monies raised from the Belfast Lough Swim 2021.
