National awards for BLS volunteers

We presented how youth volunteering works at Belfast Lough Sailability to over 200 delegates attending  the RYA Sailability National Conference at Wyboston Lakes near Cambridge on Saturday 18 February – and returned with national awards for BLS volunteers Eoin Bannon and Bill Foster.

BLS Chair Paul Bunting received the RYA Sailability Exceptional Contribution Award on behalf of Vice-Chair, Bill Foster, who unfortunately wasn’t able to attend, and Eoin Bannon received the RYA Sailability Young Volunteer of the Year Award.

The Awards were presented by Paralympians Hannah Stodel and Stephen Thomas. Well done Eoin and Bill!
